Summary: Grief stricken Katie Dillinger is on a mission to claim revenge for the death of her lover. In a race against time to find the murderer, Katie reaches out to Riker, a man listed as her boyfriend’s emergency contact. The cold-hearted man comes to Katie’s aid, but she doesn’t completely trust him. To keep her friends safe, she insists they leave town immediately. But her efforts come too late. A friend disappears and a clear message is left in the wake: surrender or more people will die.

Katie’s world is turned upside down when she discovers Riker has vowed to protect her. She’s involved in a prophecy, one which her lover had been preparing her for before his murder. All the combat training he gave her suddenly makes sense, and as Katie fights to keep her friends alive, she’s forced to prioritize. Revenge now, saving mankind next.

Short Review:

I really liked how Immortal Revenge jumped right into the hard stuff in the beginning. The first scene is completely heartbreaking and sets the stage for the rest of the book. I enjoyed this books a lot and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Retribution. At any cost.

Now that she knows her name and what she is, she wants justice for everything shes lost. Though her memories elude her, she takes a job for a half-demon Senator and, aided by werewolves from a local clan, intends to uncover evidence that will convict the Senator of more than thirty murders.

Getting to the Senator and finding the necessary evidence is more difficult than she anticipates, especially when there is a bounty for her death. If that were not enough, the vampire who stole her memories returns and reveals unexpected truths. But shes not going to let anything stop her. Not a sadistic assassin or a servant or Lucifer. Not even her ex-lover, the vampire God of the Underworld. Nothing will stop her from claiming retribution...even if the price is her life.

EXCERPT:

He nudged the robe away, revealing more of my flesh. Very tenderly, he glided his fingers over my knee and while he examined it. His gentle touch aroused several nerve endings in my body, as well as the area between my legs.

“It’s amazing. You don’t have a single mark on you.” His hand slowly crept up my thigh, moving steadily closer to my sex. The robe slipped further away, exposing me.

“Boss, I…” I swallowed hard. His soft touch tempted me in so many ways, and he knew it. The closer he moved toward my sex, the wetter I became.

His eyes traveled up my body. “You had a rough night. You need to relax.”

“Maybe we shouldn’t--”

“Relax?” He arched a brow. “I think we should.” He kissed my kneecap, then the inside of my thigh, again and again.

I combed my fingers through his hair while the kisses continued. He had beautiful eyes, lashes and high cheekbones--perfect for a model. Though he wasn’t a large man by most standards, he definitely had muscle and a nice chest any woman would appreciate--which I did.

“This could be dangerous.”

He lifted his head and started to untie my robe. “I promise, I won’t bite.”

My robe fell open, exposing my naked body. “Boss--”

“It’s just sex.” Both hands grazed my inner thighs. “To help us unwind.”

He seduced me with his enticing touch, luring voice and tender kisses. His idea of relaxing definitely intrigued me considering my first night at my new job had been bumpy. And since it was just sex… He kissed the inside of my thigh, dangerously close to where I really wanted his mouth to be.

“You make it difficult to say no,” I said, inching my legs apart.

His eyes met mine. “Then don’t say it.”

I smiled in a way that showed my approval. A little sex would definitely help us relax. Why not indulge?
