#WWReadathon Challenge: Slake Your Thirst

Wicked Wildfire Read-A-Thon

The Wicked Wildfire Read-A-Thon is hosted by Rebecca @ Kindle Fever and April @ My Shelf Confessions!

The Slake Your Thirst Challenge is hosted by Kimberly @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

For this challenge:
Help me create a recipe book for the Wicked Read-a-Thon

Share your favorite drink recipe* and the
cover of your favorite/most anticipated summer read!
Have fun with this, include pictures, the recipe (so we can all try it**) and tell us about your book choice. Have you read it? Are you anxiously awaiting its release this summer? Why?

My recipe is for:
Orange Julius!

*Makes 3-4 cups

INGREDIENTS:
6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate, no sugar added
1 cup lowfat or skim milk
1 cup water
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10-12 ice cubes

DIRECTIONS:
Combine all the ingredients except the ice cubes in a blender and process until smooth and frothy. Add the ice cubes and blend until smooth (you can blend to your desired consistency – I like a few nubs of ice here and there but my kids like it ultra-smooth).

My Most Anticipated Summer Read is:
Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent!

Synopsis:

I died on a Thursday—killed by a monster intent on stealing my soul.

The good news? He didn’t get it.

The bad news? Turns out not even death will get you out of high school…

Covering up her own murder was one thing, but faking life is much
harder than Kaylee Cavanaugh expected. After weeks spent
“recovering,” she’s back in school, fighting to stay visible to the human world, struggling to fit in with her friends and planning time alone with her new reaper boyfriend.

But to earn her keep in the human world, Kaylee must reclaim
stolen souls, and when her first assignment brings her face-to-face with an old foe, she knows the game has changed. Her immortal status won’t keep her safe. And this time Kaylee isn’t just gambling with her own life….

What's your favorite drink and most anticipated summer read?
