Witchcraft (Witchblood #2)
by Emma Mills
Jess is no ordinary vampire. Protected by the Manchester vampire clan, and initiated by her family’s east coast American coven, she is sought after by every dark witch and warring vampire faction. Jess must fight if she wants to keep hold of her friends, her sanity and finally her existence.
As the dead bodies of human girls begin to stack up, and her recently accepted vampire boyfriend, Daniel, finds himself in prison, Jess goes on a crazy, forbidden trip to London, racing against time to save an old friend and solve the mystery behind Daniel’s incarceration. In battling new enemies and finding new friends, Jess’s confidence finds room to grow, but who will she lose along the way?

When I’m Not Writing
At the moment
my life is pretty chaotic. My writing (and promoting because as an indie writer
I have to do all that as well!) is squeezed in where I can find time and even
though WitchLove has only been published for two weeks I already have fans
asking when the next one will be ready! Normally I write in the school hours
between 9:30 and 3pm when my two children are at school, as after school is
filled with piano lessons, swimming lessons, football, Brownies and Beavers clubs!
However, at the
moment my daytime hours are being crammed with other stuff too! We are in the
midst of planning a special holiday to Disney World Orlando and Clearwater in
May and this week I have been trying to organise ESTAs, Insurance and Car Hire!
On top of this
we have decided to move house, and county, to be nearer my husband’s place of
work in Cheshire. So the house is on the market and I have an endless amount of
clearing and cleaning to do! I don’t ever recommend trying to sell your house
when you have two children under 9 and a house full of pets… yes we have a dog,
a cat, a bunny, 3 chickens and several fish!
When I manage
to grab a spare hour to myself, or late at night when my husband is home, I
like to watch movies and read books in the bath. My favourite TV programmes are
Call the Midwife, Downton Abbey, Criminal Minds and CSI, and when I’m not doing
that I love to bake cakes!
